"Us vs. Them" - The Botton Line
(Revised 9Feb99 at 20:27)

HI Disposal Systems "Plasma-Based Pyrolysis/Vitrification" (PBPV) System completely destroys the waste it processes, leaving HI-DS with safe, re-useable by-products … It’s the "only one" that does ...

HI's PBPV System eliminates the need for landfills … The remaining vitrified slag is reused for other products" … All are additional sources of income for HI-DS …

Particulate matter, if any, that might be released into the air by HI's PBPV System is minimized … No other technology comes close …

HI's PBPV System greatly reduces toxic air contaminants (TAC’s) from being released into the environment … Most of the off-gases are recycled for other industrial processes; such as the production of methanol, electricity or steam ... All are additional source of income for HI-DS …

YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT:
  1. Other Technologies only cover up the problem …

  2. Other Technologies only offer the short-term "treatment" solution to a long-term "disposal" problem …

  3. Other Technologies creates a concentrated ash or pulp mix that is landfilled, potentially leaching toxic decomposition products into the ground water, causing additional problems later …

  4. Other Technologies generate a large volume of waste requiring landfilling which may be restricted by local ordinance … Landfills are a major source of "toxic air contaminants" that cause additional problems later ...

  5. Other Technologies (e.g., steam & chemical treatments) may pose physical, chemical and biological exposures to employees …

  6. Other Technologies (especially incineration) are being targeted by environmental groups for releasing excessive and high levels of toxic emissions into the air …

  7. Other Technologies are being criticized by doctor, hospital and medical organizations for not always doing the job they were originally intended to do. Still leaving the medical industry with a potential liability problem …

  8. Other Technologies are being criticized by doctor, hospital and medical organizations for coming up with some of these nonsensical, short-sided and so-called revolutionary new methods of waste destruction, that are not really waste destruction devices, they are what we call "waste destruction deceiving devices" ...

The medical waste generators, as a whole, are begging the waste disposal industry for a method of truly and completely eliminating their medical waste problems, past, present and future …

And that's what HI-DS & PEAT's relationship is all about …

Finally, someone wanting to do the right thing for the right reason …

Finally, someone is going to do what they say they can do …

Completely eliminating the healthcare industry’s medical waste problems ...

This can be accomplished because the high temperatures produced by our plasma heating system can be completely controlled ... The plasma heating system used in HI-DS’s PBPV System can produce instantaneous arc temperatures in a heating range from 12,000 to 21,000 degrees Fahrenheit, but most waste material will be destroyed in a heating range from 2,600 to 3,500 degrees Fahrenheit. For a point of reference, the heating range (temperature) for most Incinerators only get from 1,400 to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit ...

And more importunately, from a business point of view, HI-DS can process and/or destroy several different types of waste streams produced by several different types of waste generators. Thus, giving HI-DS the ability to process a larger and more diversified stream of waste products using the same equipment, in the same system (depending on the type of permit), at a single regional location ...

None of the existing systems on the market today
have our diversity or our potential ...
