HI Disposal Systems of Indiana, LLC has permitted, and is now in the process of site planning, designing and building the first waste disposal facility in the United States, utilizing HI's Plasma-Based Pyrolysis/Vitrification (PBPV) System developed by PEAT, inc. exclusively for HI Disposal Systems, LLC.

HI's PBPV System is not an incinerator - It is not an autoclave - It is not a chemical treatment/disinfectant - It is not thermal/radiation technology - It is not rotary kiln technology - It is not irradiation sterilization technology - It is not steam/thermal technology - It is not microwave technology. It is not another "short-term solution" to man's long-term waste disposal problems.

HI's PBPV System is a plasma-based pyrolysis/vitrification waste disposal system that completely destroys the waste it processes, enabling communities, and local industries to be more environmentally responsible for their own waste streams.

HI's PBPV System - Eliminates the need for landfills - Terminates long-term liability for waste generators - Saves time, money and valuable resources ... Avoiding the potential dangers of transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams over long distances - and, Virtually eliminates toxic air contaminants (TAC's) and doxins from the environment, as compared to landfills, incinerators and other waste disposal technologies.

HI's (PBPV) System uses a plasma-arc heating system to process medical (infectious) & hazardous (chemical) waste streams, causing vitrification of the waste into a non-leachable, non-hazardous, reusable glassy compound that HI plans to use in other products . This process also produces reusable gasses, which are used in other industrial processes; such as the production of methanol, electricity, or steam. HI estimates that approximately 1/3 of its energy costs will be recovered from the by-products produced from HI's PBPV System.

HI's PBPV System is designed to offer the waste disposal industry a "better/safer" technology that is environmentally friendly, affordable, and a solution to the waste generators long-term liability problems. This technology is the "better mousetrap" that sets a new standard in the waste disposal industry.

HI's PBPV System is a technology for waste generators and waste haulers
that Care about "our environment" and "their long term liability".

This is not a research and development project. - All testing is complete. This project is a commercial multi-purpose facility, designed as the "next generation" in state-of-the-art waste processing.
